About the role
We are seeking an experienced Design Technician who is highly capable, motivated and driven by design and detail. This role can be located in either Terrey Hills or Woollahra.
The role involves working on exciting residential projects from initial concept sketch through construction to completion.
As a Design Technician, you are responsible for:
- Developing concept designs prepared by Principal Designer or Project Architect/Designer
- Developing 3D CAD models for client presentations
- Preparation of DA or CDC submission drawing sets
- Producing full architectural drawing packages for construction
- Ensuring the designs comply with Council and SEPP (CDC) requirements
You will be working closely with the Project Leads, Senior Designers and Construction Managers in a friendly and collaborative environment.
About you
- Minimum 5+ years’ industry experience in a similar role
- High-end residential experience
- Proficient in ArchiCAD
- Understanding of BCA, Australian Standards, SEPP (CDC) and Council development controls
Qualifications
- Diploma in Building Design or equivalent (preferred)
