ESMAEE is an Australian born fashion brand proudly designed in Sydney, Australia.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Garment Technician / Design Assistant to join our team based in our head office in Waterloo. You will play a crucial role in managing the administrative aspects of the design process, supporting the design team in realising seasonal collections.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintain and create tech packs, BOMS, style trackers.
- Creating technical drawing for developed components using Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Responsible from first prototype to multiple salesman samples
- Manage grading and size specs.
- Manage and conduct sample fittings to ensure perfect fit and make relevant changes to the garment specifications.
- Liaise with factories.
- Inspection of pre-production samples and final shipping samples for quality
- Assist in new Design concept for new collection.
- Assist in Photoshoot of collections.
While the above provides you an overview of what your role looks like. As a brand that is constantly working to provide the best possible experience & product for our customer, you’ll need to be prepared to roll up your sleeves and lend a helping hand to others when needed!
You will have:
- Appropriate qualification from a recognised Fashion Design institution.
- A genuine interest in fashion and design, with an eye for trends
- Previous industry experience is preferred but not essential.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Proficient in CADs, compiling line-sheets, and designing simple print artwork.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
