Access theSome of your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and quantifying transport infrastructure design models in the strategic planning, concept, development, and implementation phases of an overarching Road System Manager framework for the delivery of projects.
- Managing and undertaking key components of the planning and design function for transport infrastructure projects to achieve successful completion within time, quality, cost and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensuring that planning and design principles are implemented in accordance with the relevant policies, standards, guidelines and legislation, and that quality management procedures are adhered to.
- Implementing the most suitable design process for project delivery, including investigating, analysing and conceptualising design options to meet project objectives.
- Assist with the review of transport infrastructure design drawings and documentation provided by external design consultancies.
- Providing technical advice and support in relation to planning and design processes for transport infrastructure projects. This can encompass corridor planning, program development, delivery, and finalisation.
- Development of effective relations with internal and external stakeholders to identify and address needs, expectations and issues that may affect the successful delivery of projects.
