Our Data#3 Managed Field Services team are seeking 2x Desktop Support Officer’s to join our team in QLD as part of a new requirement with one of our ongoing Services customers.
As the Desktop Support Officer in this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive end-user Desktop Support services to a large utilities organization. The primary focus of this role is to assist with the consolidation of domains, supporting end-users through the transition and ensuring a seamless desktop experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- End-User Support: Provide hands-on support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues, troubleshooting problems, and ensuring timely resolution.
- Domain Consolidation Assistance: Support the client in the consolidation of domains by assisting end-users in adapting to the changes and ensuring a smooth transition.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve desktop-related technical issues, including but not limited to hardware malfunctions, software conflicts, and connectivity problems.
- Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of support activities, including issue resolution steps, to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other Desktop Support Officers and IT teams to escalate and resolve complex issues efficiently.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring end-users are informed, supported, and satisfied with the resolution of their issues.
- Adaptability: Quickly adapt to changes in technology, policies, and procedures, ensuring effective support in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in Desktop Support or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with domain consolidation processes is a plus.
