One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage a skilled Desktop Support Officer to assist in providing level 2 and 3 support to the departments site offices as well as remote support for users working from home or interstate. The successful Desktop Support Officer will be offered a 12 month contract with 3 x 12 month extensions.
The successful Desktop Support Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Completing incident tickets and service requests
- Documenting processes and initiatives to enable effective IT operations.
- Assisting in providing rapid VIP support Senior Executives nationally.
The successful Desktop Support Officer will have experience in the following:
- Proven experience in a technical support role, supporting large numbers of users nationally.
- Experience in using lvanti or similar IT Service Management tools.
- Qualifications in Information technology or relevant industry experience
- Experience in supporting Active Directory, Win10/11, M365, Azure Virtual Desktops and iOS
- Experience in M365 Power apps, Intune, Netskope and Video Conferencing is highly desirable
