AddressAbaris is an established family company producing high end food packaging for some of the world’s biggest and best known brands. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a Despatch Assistant and contribute to the success of our company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of cartons and labels to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Accurately calculate the quantity and weight for each job.
- Ensure proper matching of quantities against job bags for precise inventory control.
- Generate delivery dockets and organise pallet transfers for each customer.
- Complete consignment notes with all necessary details.
- Calculate the total number of pallets scheduled for dispatch on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in accurately calculating quantities and weights.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
