Main duties and responsibilities:
- Coordinate and optimize logistical activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to streamline supply chain processes and resolve logistical challenges.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock movements to minimize disruptions and maximize efficiency.
- Implement and maintain best practices in logistics management, including compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Analyse logistical data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Forklift operations.
Position Essentials:
- 2 + years’ experience in a Dispatch Coordinator/ Allocator/ Dispatch Role but not essential
- Strong ability to multi-task
- Computer literate with strong Excel skills
- Ability to follow policies and procedures.
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff and co-workers.
- High reach Forklift Ticket
