We have an exciting opportunity at nbn, as the Developer Liaison reporting to Senior Manager- Developer Liaison.

A bit about your role

As nbn transitions from building to operating a highly complex national network, the New Developments team will continue to engage with customers to augment and extend the reach of the nbn network to new homes and businesses across Australia for many years to come. The Property Development Industry presents a unique opportunity for nbn to continue increasing its revenue and market share by creating strong partnerships with Property Developers. The Developer Liaison Team is a key part of the New Developments Customer Delivery Team which is part of the wider New Developments team. The core purpose of the role is to enable the timely rollout of new nbn network by partnering with nbn's customers' (developers & consultants) and internal stakeholders in delivering high quality proactive network deployment.

The role is responsible for key customer interaction, data & construction timings required to progress the application to milestone achievement and accountable to engage with internal teams across various functions to progress a development application through to completion. End to End Case management and acting as an escalation point resolving complaints and queries keeping relevant internal stakeholders informed along with providing support and subject matter expertise across New Developments Customer Delivery and the wider business in projects and initiatives as required is one of the key accountabilities of the role.

A bit about you

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Project Management Certification or equivalent, along with a good experience in an operational role within Telco or infrastructure organizations. They should have a solid understanding of project management concepts and principles, as well as experience in managing complex new business projects or programs for large service providers, utilities, and government customers in the telecommunications sector.

Additionally, the candidate should have well-developed business skills and a strong knowledge of the telecommunications industry. Special skills required include the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, balance changing priorities, work within governance frameworks, and effectively communicate and influence others. Strong planning and organizing skills are also essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Customer Relationship Management systems. The candidate should be able to prioritize workload in a complex environment, drive vision and alignment with company values, and demonstrate excellent business acumen and customer-driven communication skills.
