Developer Programmer

Position: Developer ProgrammerPosition Type: Full-TimeSalary: $72,000 plus superannuation per annumLocation: Melbourne VIC 3000Our client is seeking an experienced Developer Programmer to be responsible for assisting with the development of BIM content hosting platform (BIMcontent.com), our internal process automation tools, and bespoke development projects for our customers.Tasks required include:

• Work closely with CTO to best manage roll-out and make improvements to IGS' products, tools, and public platforms.
• Develop technical aspects of the company's strategy to ensure alignment with its business goals.
• Maintaining and supporting current and future web platforms.
• Designing, developing, testing and debugging responsive UI for Mobile and Web applications.
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Create and maintain software/platform documentation.
• Discover and implement new technologies that yield competitive advantage.
• Build quality assurance and data protection processes.
• Monitor KPIs and IT budgets to assess technological performance.
• Contribute to the development of IGS Group's services, expertise, quality processes, and financial success.
• In collaboration with the Marketing / Sales team, assist with the management of the IGS company website, including but not limited to ensuring the stability and security of the site.
• Contribution to support and maintenance of the current BIMcontent.com WordPress platform.
• Ensure IGS Group is ahead of the curve in terms of technology and is seen as a leader by both competitors and customers. Comply with all policies and procedures as set by the company.
• Comply with all regulations and laws as required to deliver the Web Developer role.
• Undertake appropriate due diligence associated with the analysis and design of any projects
• Own technological solutions to implement designs made for our customers, including: o Content management o Content publication, web hosting o Translation and localisation management o Automation of repetitive tasks o Tooling for contributors o Security, both internal and on customer projects o Reporting, internal and to customers
• Ensuring cross-platform optimisation between Revit API and web applications
• Participate in creating and implementing new products, services and workflows where technology is concerned
• In collaboration with the CTO, ensuring optimisation of budget for all technology investment and ongoing expenses.

• Associate Master’s Degree (Information Technology).
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed.
