Development Coordinator

The Development Coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of high-quality developments from inception through to the final product that exceed client expectations. This will require working closely with our business operations including our in-house construction team, design, sales, and marketing functions as well as key external stakeholders and suppliers to deliver incredible projects.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Support and execute the key deliverables for each of the assigned developments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the smooth passage of delivery
• Undertake market research and analysis 
• Sales agent engagement and liaison for nominated projects
• Assist management with the preparation of leases for sales
• Assist with the preparation of project collateral 
• Work closely with a variety of business functions including marketing and sales to support sales outcomes
• Assist with site investigations and analysis for project aquisition
• Assist with planning, DS submissions and approval processes
• Liaise with the delivery team to ensure coordinated design, building efficiency and optimal buildability outcomes
• Collaborate with construction to ensure that all DA conditions are allocated and addressed
• Engage with the marketing team and external marketing consultants
• Review marketing strategy
• Support the management of external project consultants
• Engage with Strata and Executive Commitee for assigned projects 
• Manage UTAR ad settlement processes 
• Assist with community consultation and implementing stakeholder engagement process
• Undertake and assist with financial management of development projects
• Assist with the valuation processes for investments and construction funding facilities 

Skills & Experience

• Experience in the property industry  
• Experience in the ACT Planning regime and leasehold system or the ability to learn quickly
• Team player who has an entrepreneurial mindset and ability
• Ability to multi-task competing priorities and deadlines
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
