We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and motivated Development Manager for our upcoming residential development projects.
Duties and Responsibilities: -
- Managing all aspects of the development lifecycle, from acquisition of land through to construction and settlement
- Research and analyse development issues and propose suitable solutions
- Appointing and effectively managing external consultants
- Consulting with authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects are developed in a timely manner
- Preparation of development applications in conjunction with external consultants and facilitate timely approval
- Facilitate tendering and construction of civil works in conjunction with external consultants
- Facilitate construction certificate and subdivision certificate applications
- Assist with assessment and project feasibility of to be acquired projects
- Provide input into project marketing strategies
- Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop, maintain and reporting on status of development applications to Directors
- Experience with integrated housing projects desirable
Qualifications and Experience requirements: -
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as an Assistant Development Manager/ Development Manager
- Ideally you will have worked for a residential developer
- Experience in all facets of land development from design to delivery through to sale and settlement
- An effective manager who possesses a can-do attitude
- Exceptional relationship building skills, driven through outstanding communication – verbal and written
- Excellent organisational and time management skills and attention to detail
- The ability to prioritise effectively and thrive in a busy environment
