About Us:
Paediatric Play is multidisciplinary Allied Health practise, with a team of Occupational Therapist, Allied Health Assistance, and Developmental Educators. Paediatric Play provides therapy in-clinic and community across South Australia. Paediatric Play’s mission is to offer services to clients (2-17 years) and families in their natural environment and within in-clinic.

Role Overview:
We are looking for passionate Developmental Educator/Early Childhood Educator who will work with children aged 3 – 18 years.
The Developmental Educator/Early Childhood Educator will provide assessments and therapy to clients and families using a family-centred approach.
Successful candidates will also support our team, growing into senior and leadership roles.
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy interventions and resources to clients and families through evidence-based practice to meet individual and family goals.
- Educate parents and other cares involved in the clients care around therapy goals and recommendations.
- Develop, conduct, and evaluate individual therapy sessions, clearly communicating intervention plans and expected outcomes to families.
- Monitor and document client progress, adjusting intervention plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain relationships with educational staff and other service providers.
- Collaborate with families to assess, develop, and implement programs for children, their parents/caregivers, and educators (e.g., kindergarten teachers, childcare workers).
Key Selection Criteria:
- Current driver’s license and police check.
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen Check
- Relevant and current registration
- Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education
- Master of Disability and Developmental Education
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education
