Devops Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join Orikan, a pioneering, technology focussed organisation, and make a true difference to the end user.

You will play a pivotal role in a large programme of work, and will be critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage DevOps processes to help optimize the build, test, and deployment processes for efficient software delivery.
• Utilize IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep) to automate infrastructure provisioning.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Leverage configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppeteer, Chef).
• Handle backups, disaster recovery, and scaling for SQL Server VMs, Azure Managed SQL Instances, and Azure SQL databases.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or other IaC tools.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppeteer, Chef).
• Familiarity with Azure services and cloud architecture.
