Our client, a large Federal Government organisation who serves as the principal revenue collection body for the Australian Government, are Seeking the experience a DevOps Specialist for a long 12+12+12+12 month contract, based in Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne (Box Hill) or Penrith NSW.
Duties of the DevOps Specialist
- Provide guidance, strategic direction and specialist advice that promotes best practice and matures DevOps capability in the branch.
- Design and promote advanced and effective scalable DevOps solutions and processes enhance DevOps maturity across the branch.
- Lead the design and developing automation strategies in collaboration with SMEs that align to DevOps best practices.
- Strategic planning for infrastructure, processes and technology adoption ensuring alignment to the client's automation strategy and technology roadmap.
- Collaborate with architecture SMEs to design and implement DevOps solutions. This includes evaluating tools and technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, security and maintainability of infrastructure and systems.
Skills and Experience Required
Proven / demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer / specialist within a large Federal Government organisation.
A Baseline Security Clearance or higher.
Relevant qualifications / degree(s) (desired);
