Our Payload division designs and manufactures the category leading Hercules dump bodies and Barracuda mining buckets – both of which are regarded for their proven ability to provide significant payload advantages.
Due to an increase in work, we are looking for a team of experienced Boilermakers and FCAW Welders to join our Waroona Workshop. You will be experienced in heavy fabrication on buckets.
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily welding activities working on Schlam’s highly specialised equipment.
- Ensure all work orders are completed to a consistently high standard.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
- Ensuring the safety culture is embraced and displayed at all times.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be currently living and working in Western Australia.
- Have a relevant Trade Certificate – Boilermaking.
- Able to successfully complete a 2G to 4F Weld test to AS1554.4 – AS1554.5.
- Current HRWL – or the ability to obtain within six weeks.
- Current WA Driver’s Licence – C Class.
- Have own Adflo and tooling kit
- Complete a Pre-Employment Medical including a drug and alcohol screen.
- Good work ethic, good communicator and hold safety as a priority.
