Dido/Fifo Water Treatment Service Technician

We have forged a dominant industry presence in a very short period of time through our consultative approach to recruitment, and transparent approach to client and candidate management.CrewSELECT require a DIDO/FIFOWater Treatment Service Technician to work on Chlorine Gas and Water Treatment infrastructure across WA.Job Overview:

• Carry out service, repair, maintenance, and installation on Water Treatment and chemical dosing infrastructure.
• Assess and repair/service equipment returned from the field in workshop.
• Instrumentation works.
• Maintain up to date customer records.
• Perform general duties of carrying out both electrical and mechanical work.
• Working on sites including Watercorp, BHP, Rio Tinto, Alcoa, Chevron and many more.
• Blend of local, regional, and mine site work.

• Starting average package of approx. $160k per annum (Base + Super + Car + OT + Allowances)

• Salary: $90k to $100k base + full overtime penalties + super.

• 5:2 - Monday to Friday work - occasional weekend if the job blow out or on call work comes up.

About you:

• Experience working with chlorine gas facilities and/or Water Treatment facilities is beneficial.
• Proven experience working as a service and maintenance on machinery and plant environments.
• Prior experience working with electrical and mechanical components.
• Basic fabrication skills would be beneficial.
• Ability to use initiative and problem solve.
• Be a self motivated person who has a high standard for quality.
• Motivated, positive, can-do attitude.
• Flexible attitude and willingness to travel as required.
• Attention to details “A perfectionist”.
• Able to read and interpret details drawings / plans.
• Able to work in a team or on their own when required.
• Happy to be on an on-call roster.

Tickets and qualifications required:

• Electrical, Mechanical or Plumbing trade certificate.
• Construction card.
• Drivers license.
• Police clearance within 12 months.
• Instrumentation certification - highly regarded but not essential.
