THE ROLE:Due to continual growth within the business, we are looking for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or light vehicle mechanic looking to upskill to join the Hallett team on a permanent basis. The primary focus of this hands-on role will be to carry out maintenance and repair of all mobile plant, including scheduled maintenance and servicing throughout Hallett Group of Companies. QUALIFICATIONS | EXPERIENCE | SKILLS:
- Heavy Diesel Mechanical trade or light vehicle mechanic’s qualification.
- High focus on Safety, assessing risk and putting appropriate control in place
- Experience working on and servicing
On Highway trucks/trailers & heavy plant and equipment.
- Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics;
- Proven experience in breakdown repairs to heavy equipment
- Electrical system diagnoses and repairs
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work without direct supervision.
