Position: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
Location: Dubbo, NSW
Role ResponsibilitiesReporting directly to the Workshop Foreman, the Heavy Vehicle Mechanic will demonstrate a mature and professional demeanor with exceptional communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing, inspecting, reconditioning, repairing, and assembling the fleet while upholding safety, quality, and Buslines standards.
- Maintaining all company vehicles and assets in line with Manufacturer's guidelines.
- Ensuring adherence to company procedures for all maintenance work.
- Attending breakdowns and conducting field-related mechanical repairs.
- Effectively communicating safety or maintenance issues.
- Adhering to all Work, Health & Safety requirements while performing duties.
- Maintaining clean workshop practices.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Relevant trade qualifications (MVTC) are essential.
- Experience in vehicle service and maintenance; additional training can be provided.
- Commitment to safety standards and company policies.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork experience in daily maintenance and repair schedules.
- Proactive attitude with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic team environment.
- MR or HR driver’s license preferred.
