About the Role
Workpac are seeking experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic's wanting to upskill and also Heavy Vehicle Mechanics looking for ongoing work with our client based in the Hunter region at various locations.
What you will be doing:
• Working primarily on Utes, Trucks, CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu and Liebherr mining machinery
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and inspections on heavy mining equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Complete service reports and maintenance logs accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to company safety standards and procedures at all times.
What you need:
• Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent
• Current Drivers licence
Desirable but not essential:
• Order 43 Coal Board Medical
• Forklift qualification
• Dogman qualification
• Mine site experience (min Workshop)
• Minesite inducted
• Working at heights
• MDG25 training attainment
