Your new role
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to take on a pivotal role within our client’s workshop. This position offers the unique opportunity to work both in the workshop and on-site, providing comprehensive service and repairs to a wide range of heavy earthmoving machinery. Key responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and hydraulic systems, ensuring the high performance and reliability of the fleet. This role is suited to individuals with a strong passion for machinery, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a desire to be at the forefront of the company’s operations, contributing to its legacy of excellence and innovation.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Certification III in Diesel Mechanics or equivalent.
- Experience with heavy earthmoving equipment is highly regarded.
- Strong problem-solving skills for efficient and effective mechanical issue resolution.
- A firm commitment to safety, adhering to all workplace safety guidelines and protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration and project coordination.
- Flexibility to work in both workshop and on-site environments, adaptable to various project requirements.
