About the role
The role is to be the primary mechanic in our newly established Biggera Waters Branch. You will provide support to our 4 branch locations in SEQ by ensuring the prompt service, repair and maintenance of our own equipment in the new Biggera Waters workshop.
- Scheduled Maintenance on a wide variety of equipment including but not limited to Earthmoving equipment, EWP's, Generators, Small petrol / diesel / electric plant + much more
- Equipment diagnosis & repair
- On Site breakdown service
- On Call Service
- Typical hours 7am -5pm Monday to Friday
To Succeed
To succeed in this role the main attributes we are looking for are energy and a willingness to help the customer and help your team mates. In addition to this the following items are also required:
- Proven mechanical troubleshooting acumen
- Mechanical trade qualification Cert III or equivalent in a mechanical trade
- Upbeat nature and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Excellent level of customer service
- Proven experience on industrial equipment with both diesel and petrol engines
- Adopt and comply with a high level of safe work culture within our company
- Forklift licence advantageous but not mandatory
- Current drivers licence
- Experience with compaction and earthmoving equipment from 0-25 ton desirable but not mandatory
- Experience with EWP'S & Forklifts desirable but not mandatory
- Excellent communication skills & team spirit & strong customer focus
- Well presented
