Your new opportunity:
An excellent full time, permanent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our Field Service team. There are multiple positions available across Various Mine Sites DIDO from Mackay you will be our first response to field service activities, supporting a diverse product range and will also work directly with our valued customers.
- Diverse service work including diagnosis, servicing and minor/major repairs.
- Compile high quality field service and job reports to facilitate clear provision of information to customers and/or warranty department.
- Ability to work cooperatively on sites with both Customer and Equipment suppliers on a daily basis and liaise with maintenance planners to ensure scheduled equipment maintenance is carried out.
- Provide technical assistance as required.
- Actively contribute towards an ongoing improvement culture in the safety, quality and productivity of the team.
About you:
- Trade Qualification's (Diesel Mechanic) or similar.
- Current Standard 11
- Extensive' experience in the maintenance of mobile equipment in a mining or heavy industry environment - in particular Diesel Engines.
- Have a strong background maintaining, servicing and repairing trucks and heavy vehicles;
- Experience in understanding and interpreting fault code data and machine information
- Ability to understand and action technical product information.
- Demonstrated skills in understanding customer support requirements.
- Detailed practical working knowledge and operation of appropriate PPS machinery, tools and equipment - in particular MTU engines
