Job Description
We are very excited to offer a highly sought-after Dietitian role to join our Allied Health team at Epworth Camberwell!
We are seeking interest from an enthusiastic Grade 1 Dietitian looking for a part time (0.6 EFT) opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for providing dietetic services. You will be part of the dietetics team and report to the Manager of Dietetics.
You will make an impact by:
- Providing nutrition advice, support, counselling and education to patients and family/carers
- Actively participating as a member of the department and multidisciplinary team
- Actively participating in quality activities ensuring opportunities for improvement are actively explored and best practice is achieved
- Participating in ongoing professional development by upgrading clinical competencies and knowledge and participating in both internal and external educational opportunities
- Demonstrating empathy and compassion and encourage patient and family members participation in all stages of care
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous acute hospital experience is desirable
- The ability to work with key stakeholders to deliver excellent patient care and outcomes
- A quality and risk focused approach to clinical practice, patient care and decision making
- Strong customer service skills and a 'can do' attitude
- Strong work ethic and time management skills
- Be committed to evidenced based patient centred care.

Qualifications
- Bachelor/Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent
- Eligibility for membership with Dietitians Australia
