Access theWe are seeking a permanent part time - Safer Schoolies, Digital and Social Media Officer for 3 days per week.
The successful applicant will develop and deliver a vibrant Digital and Social Media strategy. You will work closely with the Senior Communications and Engagement Officer to turn important safety messages into engaging content for two key online audiences, school leavers and parents. You will plan, create and publish Social Media posts, and create videos for classroom education sessions and volunteer recruitment campaigns. You will also plan and create exciting digital content for LED screens used on the stages inside the Surfers Paradise Schoolies Beach Hub to give it a festival vibe, while disseminating important safety messages to party-goers. In addition, you will oversee the Safer Schoolies website and manage Google Ads and Google Analytics.It is a requirement of the role to be available to work on-the-ground during Schoolies Week (Gold Coast). This includes work outside of normal business hours (evening work and extended hours), and in the lead-up to Schoolies Week, work across multiple functions of the team, including accreditation and operations, as part of cross-team collaboration.This role involves interaction with young people and therefore will require a valid Blue Card with the organisation.
