The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Content & Social Media Officer to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our Marketing department and providing key support to the success of our organisation.
- Monitor Social Media engagement across all channels, with an additional focus on planning, scheduling, and creating engaging content for Social Media, website, news, and internal communications, with a real focus on in-field content creation through videography and photography.
- This role has a heavy focus on being in the field to capture content including; video, photography and well written, engaging editorial for distribution both internally and externally.
- Collaborate with business areas to develop and deploy Social Media campaigns highlighting business capabilities as well as optimize internal news content for Social Media channels.
- Develop and manage the Centurion Media Library, including maintaining a library of response messages.
- Implement effective SEO content, paid Social Media campaigns, and targeted initiatives to support brand positioning and internal functions such as recruitment.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on marketing activity performance as well as on Social Media performance to assess campaign success, reach, and identify opportunities.
Skills & Experience
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications, or other relevant discipline.
- Videography, photography, editorial, and production qualifications would be advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills – copywriting, proofreading, and presentation skills
- Sound knowledge of digital and Social Media
- Experience with InDesign, other Adobe creative products is an advantage
