The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Content & Social Media Officer to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting our Marketing department and providing key support to the success of our organisation.

• Monitor Social Media engagement across all channels, with an additional focus on planning, scheduling, and creating engaging content for Social Media, website, news, and internal communications, with a real focus on in-field content creation through videography and photography.
• Focus heavily on being in the field to capture content (video, photo and human to develop well present, catch, industry appropriate and engaging written and visual content for distribution through out the company and to external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business areas to develop and deploy Social Media campaigns highlighting business capabilities as well as optimize internal news content for Social Media channels.
• Develop and manage the Centurion Media Library, including maintaining a library of response messages.
• Implement effective SEO content, paid Social Media campaigns, and targeted initiatives to support brand positioning and internal functions such as recruitment.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on marketing activity performance as well as on Social Media performance to assess campaign success, reach, and identify opportunities.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years experience in a similar role
• Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Public Relations or Communications, or other relevant discipline.
• Videography, photography, editorial, and production qualifications would be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills – copywriting, proofreading, and presentation skills
• Sound knowledge of digital and Social Media
• Experience with InDesign, other Adobe creative products is an advantage
