About the role
We are looking for an experienced, strategic and collaborative Digital Banking Manager to optimise existing and new digital initiatives, ensuring that our product offering meets the needs of our current and future customers and aligns with our organisational strategy.
The Digital Banking Manager will provide day-to-day leadership in a liaison role between our core product providers and internal business units. You will work collaboratively across the business, serving as a vital link between technical expertise and business goals.
Your key areas of focus will be in optimising platform and app performance, identifying areas of improvement, whilst maintaining robust product control measures and ensuring risk and compliance measures are met.
While it is preferrable that the role is based at our Head Office in Albury, NSW, the role can be based remotely in Melbourne, accessing our CBD based office space and with some Working from Home, under a hybrid work model. Travel to our Head Office in Albury, NSW may be required on a regular pre-scheduled basis.
What you can expect
Reporting to the Head of Product, you will:
- Lead and coordinate product operations enabling us to remain ahead of the curve, and relevant to our customers and community.
- Implement and maintain product control process that are robust, ensuring high-level security, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead the lifecycle management of iBank, Hume Bank App and Hume Connect, our core products.
- Contribute to the ongoing implementation of the strategic business plan and goals.
- Create a culture of simplicity, efficiency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience in digital product or related banking management role
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Experience as a creative problem-solver with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
- Tertiary qualifications in product management, digital marketing, finance, business or similar (desirable)
- A strong understanding of multi-channel / product environments and contemporary digital trends in the financial services sector (desirable)

Our process
- Once the role is closed, we review all applications against the requirements, creating a shortlist for further review.

- We conduct two rounds of interviews, with the first interview being held with the supervisor and a member of our People Team. You may be invited back to a shorter second-round interview with the head of the department.
