So, what’s the role?
In this role you will be responsible for leading the technical execution of the solution architectures and designs to deliver Bank First’s digital capabilities in line with the Technology /Digital roadmap and Bank Firsts technology strategy.
This role offers hybrid working, but the desired candidate must be based in Melbourne.
Key accountabilities will include:
Developing solution architecture for various regular projects and initiatives
Accountability for understanding and documenting current state architecture and assist in defining and planning the digital roadmap
Designing solutions and governing projects during engineering and transition to operations phases
Partnering closely with the business and principal architecture design on Projects from inception to delivery.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate design solutions
Providing practical advice and best practices to take advantage of new, or emerging, opportunities and successfully deliver the expected business outcomes
Be the technical SME for API and integration standards in addition to being the SME for security standards and how solutions comply to regulations
Assisting the engineering aspects of solution design for core banking to digital interfaces
Assisting with engineering aspects of solution design with various SaaS based solutions and ensuring data is well secured and integration protocols are compliant.
The desired, tertiary qualified candidate will need the following:
Demonstrated experience in Digital Solutions Architecture roles within financial services
Domain experience in delivery of application, information, integration, process, security, and technology architecture artefacts
Proven experience defining and implementing solutions that meet business needs
Cloud transformation and SaaS adoption and strong proven application and cloud integration experience
Proven skills and in-depth knowledge and experience with mobile app and digital channels, and marketing automation technologies.
Understanding and ability to work with different project management methodologies
Architecture and technology evaluations and Options Assessment.
Knowledge of ITIL and TOGAF frameworks and project management methodologies.
Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
