Our client, a large complex Queensland Government department, are currently seeking a Business Analyst for a Website Improvement Project.
The successful Business Analyst will deliver quality digital solutions and advice to support improving customer-centricity and user experience, aligned with delivering the project's strategic objectives.
You will work in a fast-paced but highly supportive environment managing multiple priorities with competing deadlines by working effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
You will work closely with the Online and Digital team who provide strategic digital communication planning, standards, advice and tactical delivery to proactively manage and improve the department's digital communication channels. Activities include using stakeholder engagement and customer research mechanisms to deliver complex upgrades and renewal projects.
Roles and responsibilities include;
- Gather, document and manage business requirements.
- Analyse and manipulate complex data and present data analysis to key stakeholders using plain language to explain complex concepts.
- Develop project documentation such as business requirements specification, user guides, business process mapping current and future state.

Skills and experience required:
- Experience or qualifications in business analysis, human-centered design or web applications
- demonstrate high-level business analysis skills and the ability to achieve successful project outcomes
- use high-level negotiation, consultation, facilitation and written and oral communication skills in a complex project environment
- demonstrate professional and ethical behaviour and take personal responsibility for your work
- apply your specialist knowledge and skills to make decisions with rigour and lead the delivery of high-quality digital outcomes.
