About the role

Do you thrive on delivering high-quality Digital Communications? Use your experience in photography, videography, editing and publishing to help council progress its communications objective.

As Digital Communications Officer, will be responsible for providing expert level photography and videography services and advice across council's print, online and digital platforms.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-level, collaborative advice on the effective use of photography and videography with broader communications outputs
• Planning, managing and executing videography and photography to concept and client briefs, delivering high-quality output to tight timeframes
• Providing training and guidance in photography and videography to support branch outputs
• Provide high-quality written communications to support broader communications outputs

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Demonstrated extensive experience and applied understanding of media and communications, particularly in photography and videography, in the context of a mid/large, fast-paced government or corporate environment
• Extensive technical editing and publishing experience across a range of platforms and applications, particularly Adobe Creative Cloud or Wordpress
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communications skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to achieve identified outcomes
• Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or related field, and/or extensive experience to carry out the range of duties required
• Current Queensland "C" class licence

This is a permanent, full-time Level 6 role with a base salary of $100,533, in addition to superannuation of up to 12.5% and leave loading.
