Digital Content and Brand Marketing Lead

Haydenshapes is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Digital Content and Brand Marketing Lead. Based at our Mona Vale headquarters in Sydney, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our brand's digital presence across various platforms, including ecommerce, social media, and beyond. Reporting directly to the brand founders, you will have the opportunity to work with a global team of surfers and creative professionals to bring our brand vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Photography: Create captivating ecommerce and lifestyle imagery to showcase our range of performance surfboards, wetsuits, and apparel.
• Graphic Design and Video Editing: Develop visually unique digital and social media content, collaborating with our global team of surfers for engaging storytelling.
• Digital Marketing Execution: Lead the day-to-day execution and implementation of digital marketing campaigns, including coordination with outsourced support teams and contractors.
• Brand Communication: Manage and curate brand e-newsletters, drive database growth, and maintain social media calendars to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Graphic Design Support: Provide graphic design assistance for the development and sales of surfboards, wetsuits, and apparel, working closely with the brand founder and creative team.
• Special Projects: Contribute to the design and content creation for brand collaborations and unique design commissions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Passionate Surfer: A deep understanding and enthusiasm for surfboards and the surf industry.
• Creative Thinker: Strong interest in modern design, art, fashion, and surf culture.
• Execution Excellence: Ability to work collaboratively with brand founders to drive the development of the all brand categories and execute daily tasks efficiently.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), along with 1-2 years of experience in studio photography and lighting for product imagery.
• Digital Marketing Savvy: Experience with Meta Ads Platform, Google Ads Platform, Klaviyo, E-Newsletter, and Shopify.
• Artistic Vision: A keen eye for art direction and curation across graphic design and social media platforms keeping to the brand identity and positioning.
• Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in a small team environment and contribute positively to team goals.
• Can-Do Attitude: Proactive and adaptable mindset, willing to take on additional responsibilities to achieve collective success.
