Seo Content Writer

We're looking for an SEO Content Writer/Editor to join our SEO team to write & edit content, work with AI prompts and create content strategies.

What we are looking for

As a consultancy, we are driven to drive change for our clients, consulting with clients and driving our delivery teams to generate real business results. As an SEO Content Writer/Editor, you will work predominantly with our SEO team, but also with our Paid Media and Web teams in producing copy for our clients, lead our two copywriters, and oversee all content strategy for SEO accounts.

Must-have Requirements

• Proven experience in SEO Content Writing
• Experience in optimising content score using the SurferSEO tool
• Experience with digital (website) content strategies
• Experience proof-reading and editing content
• Understanding of UX
• Experience writing conversion-optimised copy for e-commerce and corporate websites
• Experience writing copy for Google and Facebook Ads
• Experience in website copywriting & article writing
• Experience with topic ideation for blog/article writing
• A working knowledge of SEO and how it applies to content marketing
• Experience working in a digital agency is preferred
• Understanding of SEO content structure – H1, H2, H3, H4
• Experience in conducting keyword research using Google Keyword Planner / SEMrush

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Create high quality copy - designed for humans and search engines
• New content creation – propose article titles, write articles based on the suggested keywords & internal linking
• Optimise existing content to improve content score on SurferSEO - optimising current copy on a website with target keywords & supporting keywords, incorporate internal linking
• Run workshops with clients
• Use content to improve conversion rates on clients' websites
• Optimise Meta tags (page titles, Meta descriptions, h1 and sub headlines, image alt text)
• Optimise existing content to improve content score on SurferSEO - optimising current copy on a website with target keywords & supporting keywords, incorporate internal linking
