Digital Content Officer

This NSW Government agency is looking for a Digital Content Officer to come in for a 2 month contract. This position is full time based out of Parramatta or Coffs Harbour with hybrid working arrangements.About the role

• Create compelling, customer-focused content that reflects the department's identity and achieves goals across multiple channels.
• Develop and implement effective content and communication strategies to support business activities.
• Ensure high-quality content delivery, digital optimization, and accessibility.
• Cultivate a collaborative, customer-centric culture and manage project processes efficiently.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders for successful engagements.
• Development of a project plan, basic communications plan and staff guidance material.
• Delivery of a discrete, time limited project to relocate a large volume of electronic scientific/research publications from the website to an alternate platform, working with the external communications team to update the website with links to allow publications to remain discoverable.
• Communication with staff across the division to ensure key publications are retained and stored so that they are accessible and meet the business need.

About you

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organisational skills
• Previous experience within a similar role
• Attention to detail under pressure of tight and challenging timeframes
• Previous Government experience
