Vision Australia provides services to more than 25,500 clients from 35 Vision Australia centres in Victoria, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia; and through outreach programs in the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
About the role
- Work with Digital team to prioritise and manage daily updates to the website using the content management system (CMS) Drupal – landing pages, forms, homepage tiles, events, blog articles
- Develop, create, test, and schedule pages and other related assets across the entire VA and SED websites
- Ensure all digital content complies with digital accessibility guidelines, website and brand style guides and general best practice.
- Support and manage the internal digital asset management library (Canto)
- Regularly identify maintenance tasks (eg. Broken links, copy errors etc) through Monsido reports

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience (ideally within an ecommerce environment) with content digital management tools including use of Content Management Systems, publishing and website optimisation with digital management tools including content management systems, including HTML skills.
- Experience in producing, publishing and distributing digital assets with the understanding of accessibility and usability.
- Understanding and experience in the principles of website development including usability, accessibility, information architecture and content management
- Basic HTML coding experience and/or demonstrated understanding of HTML elements and functions
