- This Digital Content Specialist role will devise content strategy by aligning current trends with business requirements.
- The position will assist the team with campaign performance analysis and share insights needed to create the upcoming content calendar.
- Key to this role is the collaboration with the marketing team to produce content that aligns with the group’s digital strategy.
- You will be responsible for producing photography and video content for internal marketing, brand campaigns, recruitment and everyday social media for the group.
- You will create content suitable for a variety of digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook Workplace, Podcasts, etc.
- You will lead in-house photoshoots (and manage external photoshoots) to create an image/video library.
- You will ensure all content is on brand and engaging, with the goal to engage, educate and entertain your target audience.
- You will bring events (internal & external) to life using live streaming and creating videos that showcase the story behind your brands positioning.
- You will record audio content that can be repurposed for digital channels.
- You will monitor engagement and relevant metrics and find ways to continually optimise content, by making use of lookalike ads, A&B testing, ad retargeting and audience segmentations.
- You will keep track of social media trends and collaborate with the team to create content for effective omni-channel campaigns.
- At least 2 years’ experience in content creation either in an agency or in-house corporate team.
- Experience creating content as well as posting and scheduling content for SM channels.
- You will be a capable and experienced photographer, videographer, and photo/video editor.
- Be creative, digitally savvy with a flair for storytelling.
- Ability to create ‘reels’ and short engaging videos with mobile.
- Actively keep up to date with emerging social media trends, newest camera equipment and editing programs (such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Canva, Hootsuite/Later).
- Excellent communication, copywriting and proofing skills.
- Graphic design experience is highly desirable and will be seen as a plus.
- Adobe After Effects experience desirable (experience with motion graphics/design).
- Understand how to use data and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.) is desirable.
- Marketing related degree and/or tertiary qualified (desirable).
