The Position
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager an exciting opportunity has arisen to come and join our high performing team!
The role of the Digital Content Specialist is to work with the Cardiovascular Metabolic Team, and Digital Marketing Team and associated agencies to oversee the creation and execution of content for all digital channels including, project management, scoping, creation, testing and execution of content for all but not limited to, email, e-detailers, webinars, SMS, and on-line websites, on-line Medical Education, videos, event registrations, as part of Boehringer Ingelheim's Go-To-Market strategy.
As such, the role requires budgeting skills, analytical reporting, effective time management, and strong stakeholder management to work with the Cardiovascular Metabolic Team as well as Commercial Operations/Go to Market Team, Medical, Sales and 3rd party stakeholders.
This role whilst executional in focus, will also need to drive innovation and identify new ways of working to optimise Digital Content engagement.
Tasks & ResponsibilitiesContent
- Collaborate across Cardio Metabolic Brand Teams and Go-To-Market Team to engage customer segments through tailored and relevant content offerings
- Input and execute to the integrated customer plan (ICP) to maximise relevance and impact of message
- Project manage the creation and delivery of content for digital channels in conjunction with the brand team, their respective creative agencies, and internal production team.
- Optimise and contribute to copy-writing and content creation to ensure compliance, consistency and best practice.
- Review corporate and regional content and assess for suitability for local use.
Measurement
- Accountable for content reach, customer retention and engagement metrics.
- Track content metrics to derive insights and actions to enhance content offering
- Ensure content is tested and optimised to achieve maximum engagement
Collaboration
- Work closely with key stakeholders to execute content strategies and to guide content best practice
- Work with Medical, Legal, Regulatory Affairs (MLR) process to ensure content compliance is completed with a timely manner
- Share local insights related to content success, learnings, and best practices both locally, regionally and globally
Education/Qualifications
- A degree in Pharmaceutical Science or other relevant degree
Experience, Skills and Competencies
- Pharmaceutical Marketing and/or Sales experience
- Content marketing skills with experience in the Australian healthcare market.
- Strong project management and administration skills with a keen eye for detail
- Understanding of the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory Affairs (MLR) review process or similar content approval process in a highly regulated industry
- Familiarity with Digital Content production processes while considering content creation that consider customer insights, business objectives, and digital objectives
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and the ability to collaborate and guide in a cross functional setting
- Experience in measuring impact and optimising content in digital channels
- Understanding of SEO, Analytics platforms, Adobe marketing cloud suites or similar
- Experience in creating marketing content in a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, automotive, energy, and financial services.
- Proven experience creating content and/or working closely with agencies that create content.
