The Role:

Reporting to the Head of Tech the Digital Graphic Artist/Illustrator will play an important role in bringing our vision to life and giving our customers an unforgettable experience. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the ongoing development of our online casino products. You will be a highly motivated, self-starter.

We are seeking a talented and versatile Digital Graphic Artist/Illustrator to join our team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in producing visually stunning and impactful Digital Graphics and illustrations.

Key Responsibilities and Skills:

• Conceptualisation and Design,

o Collaborate with the game design team to develop visually stunning and engaging concepts for slot games.

o Translate conceptual ideas into high-quality visual assets, including symbols, backgrounds, and animations.

• Asset Creation,

o Produce high-quality 2D and 3D art assets for use in slot games, ensuring they align with the overall artistic vision and technical specifications.

o Create visually appealing characters, icons, and backgrounds that enhance the gaming experience.

• Animation,

o Develop eye-catching animations for in-game elements, transitions, and special effects.

o Collaborate with game developers to ensure seamless integration of animations into the slot game environment.

• Adherence to Brand Guidelines.

o Ensure that all visual assets align with established brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive visual style across various projects.

• Iteration and Feedback,

o Actively participate in design reviews, provide constructive feedback, and iterate on designs based on team input.

o Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to refine and enhance visual elements throughout the development process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Digital Arts, or a related field,

• Proven experience as a Digital Artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing abilities

• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)

• 3D modelling/texturing/animation skills

• Demonstrated ability to think creatively and contribute innovative ideas to enhance the visual appeal our digital products

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Great attention to detail

• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite

• English fluency

• Must be based in Brisbane.

Highly Desirable:

• Proficiency using online collaboration and project management software such as Miro and Slack,

• Exposure to AI art generators (e.g., Midjourney, DALL-E)

• Proficiency with Atlassian products including Jira and Confluence

• Familiarity with 3D modelling and animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya)

• Unity experience is a plus

• Understanding of online casino regulations and compliance is a plus
