- Develop, maintain and deliver structured, relevant and up to date end user training in various formats
- Create, maintain and distribute appropriate and up to date training material
- Build relationships and work effectively with key stakeholders to ensure ongoing engagement and contribution to the review and update of training content
- Work effectively with DTI managers, system administrators and project teams to ensure that training material is updated to reflect new business rules / new functionality that may be configured to meet new business requirements, or implemented with planned system upgrades
- Prepare, maintain and publish a schedule of training sessions
- Ensure flexibility and innovation in the training schedule and delivery approach to accommodate new starters at short notice, and sessions with a very low or a very high number of participants
- Apply engaging and effective facilitation approaches to optimise participation and learning of training participants
- Monitor the effectiveness of end user training via completed training session quizzes and other mechanisms
- Liaise with DTI teams to define and ensure that user access permissions are configured once the required training activities have been completed successfully
- Seek feedback from training participants and other key stakeholders to inform continuous training program improvements
- Ensure that Digital Health Systems training is delivered within the allocated budget
- Inform DTI management of future requirements to inform budget and overall service planning
- Contribute and collaborate as a member of Information Management and DTI teams and provide guidance as a Digital Health system training and education subject matter expert
- Knowledge and skills in the delivery of IT systems education and training within Australian healthcare organisations
- Subject Matter Expertise in the designated IT systems within the portfolio
- Thorough knowledge of the business requirements / administrative functions supported by IT systems
- Sound understanding of the range of business rules that underpin accurate data entry in designated IT systems
- Ability to apply Queensland Health data standards and definitions to add meaning to IT system training and work instructions
- Ability to prepare and deliver a variety of training solutions
- Ability to operate effectively within a complex and diverse environment
- Advanced level capability using the Microsoft 365 suite of applications and ability to quickly acquire knowledge of computer-based applications relevant to the role
- Demonstrated time management and organisation skills, including the ability to organise and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to function as an effective team member together with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
