Access theYour Opportunity:The position of Senior Director, Digital Health will be an experienced leader responsible for the oversight of Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service's (CHQ) digital strategy and risk management as a whole and providing overall leadership in the establishment of digital excellence as a business partner across the HHS.This effective leader will oversee the CHQ Digital Health service reform and enhancement activities under the guidance of the Executive Director Corporate Services / Chief Finance as well as lead the delivery of three key functions aligned to the effective implementation of Children's Health Queensland's digital strategy and strategic plan.
- Digital Innovation and Transformation: Advise the Executive Director Corporate Services/CFO, the Health Service Chief Executive and the Executive Leadership Team on the opportunities and threats of an increasingly digital world and ensuring that Children's Health Queensland's strategy optimises integrated, innovative, sustainable, and effective delivery of quality health services that supports the organisation's statewide remit utilising current and emerging digital technologies, capabilities, and consumer expectations.
- Digital Enablement and Optimisation: Advocate the effective use of digital technologies and information capabilities across all aspects of the HHS with a focus on enabling reliable, efficient, and sustainable clinical and corporate service delivery in a business partnership model. Provide contemporary and innovative healthcare information and digital services in line with Children's Health Queensland's operational and strategic needs balanced with Departmental objectives and requirements across multiple functional areas of the business. This includes the delivery of world-class health intelligence and business intelligence services.
- Information Management and Cyber Security Risk Assurance and Management: Provide digital and cyber security leadership and stewardship by championing the digital risk mitigation culture whilst reinforcing efficient and effective technology adoption in the effective delivery, management, and record keeping of confidential information associated with patient care. Actively identify and implement effective strategies to prevent external cyber security threats potentially being incurred through digitalisation of work processes from both existing systems and future technologies and services.
