The NovaCina Digital IT Support Technician will support Digital related strategic infrastructure initiatives at the site including providing technical assistance and support to users within the organization. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up and configuring computer systems, and ensuring smooth operation of all IT equipment, networks and infrastructure. The IT Support Technician will also be responsible for certain system admin functions and the documenting/execution of technical processes and procedures, as well as providing training and guidance to end users if required. This position requires excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus.
The Digital IT Support Technician will assist the NovaCina VP of Digital and the Digital Operations Manager to successfully deploy and manage site systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Support to end users as required
- Actively support the deployment, qualification and management of the NovaCina site systems and infrastructure
- Actively manage the site IT Equipment and Inventory and Ticketing system
- Assist in the administration of NovaCina systems as required
Qualifications/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software suites (e.g. O365).
- Basic understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Required Functional/Technical Knowledge
- Software Development Life Cycle methodologies
- Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Management of IT infrastructure (i.e., ITIL certified)
- GMP and associated regulatory requirements
