We are looking for a new Digital Marketing and Admin Coordinator to join our growing team here at Alcatraz!
Alcatraz is an events space, live music venue, and cocktail & Tapas bar based in Sydney.
We have a part-time, job opening at our Annandale venue, with the opportunity to go full-time in the near future.
The start date would ideally be Monday, April 7th, 2024 with days being Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, although there is flexibility around this.
Prerequisites:
- Applicants must have Digital Marketing experience: Content & Ad creation.
- Ideal applicants will be competent in using video editing/creating software i.e. Premiere Pro, After Effects
- Applicants must be competent in using Adobe Suite Applications: Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.
- Applicants must have their own laptop.
Roles and Responsibilities
Digital Marketing
- Managing & executing all posts across Alcatraz’ social media channels: Instagram & YouTube
- Managing & executing all social media campaign/posts for Alcatraz weekly events
- Updating & maintaining the Alcatraz website and Linktree
- Following social media timelines and coordinating ads accordingly
- Creation of low level video assets on Adobe Premiere Pro
- Assisting in creating graphic design assets on Adobe Illustrator
- Option to capture content during nights of operation, otherwise outsourced via an external contractor
Admin
- Supporting in ideation for outreach of prospective events/hosts/artists, scouting for new emerging upcoming local and international artists
- Support in communication between internal and external stakeholders involved in bookings process
- Assisting in securing event bookings helping with contracts, invoices, sending logo and brand assets
- Assorted admin related to Marketing and bookings i.e. noting contractor quotes, filing invoices & general bookkeeping
You will be coordinating Alcatraz’ Digital Marketing campaigns, creating video & still promotional assets as well as assisting with the general administration of the company.
This role will require you to be in office 3 hours, 4 days a week from Tuesday - Friday to start with.
