About the job

Our Client - Scoot Boots is a manufacturer and global exporter of the most advanced horse (equine) hoof boot on the market. Hoof boots are a relatively new product and replace archaic metal shoes as a better way to protect horse's hooves.

As an e-commerce pure player, Scoot Boot was established in 2015 with the mission to offer better animal welfare.

After dynamic and massive growth both here in Australia and in international markets they now wish to take the brand and products to the next level. We are therefore seeking an energetic, dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to join their small, professional and passionate team based in Cambridge, near Hobart, Tasmania. Scoot Boot's commitment to animal welfare drives everything they do.

About the Role

Scoot Boot are not just looking for someone to fill a role but are seeking a creative thinker, a strategic planner, and a digital wizard all rolled into one.

  • Optimising Digital Channels: Take charge of their digital presence and elevate marketing efforts across various platforms, with a special focus on social media.
  • Crafting Killer Paid Campaigns: Dive into the world of paid advertising and drive results that align perfectly with their brand objectives.
  • Guiding Social Media Evolution: Lead the charge as we transition from simply raising brand awareness to creating meaningful customer engagement and driving conversions.
  • Managing Content Creators: Foster a global community of content creators, ensuring that user-generated content shines and propels our brand to new heights in key markets.

This role is based in the Head Office in Cambridge, Tasmania however applicants from other Australian states will be considered.  Regular travel however will be a requirement of this role with the expectation you attend regular meetings in person with the Marketing Management Team. This is something that can be explored through the interview process. We will also view very favourably anyone with a knowledge of, or passion for, the equine Industry.

About you

As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you'll be driving Scoot Boot’s digital journey, leveraging your advanced knowledge to drive impactful campaigns and meaningful connections. Here's what we're looking for:

  • Must be located in Australia, with the ability to travel to Tasmania on a regular basis
  • Mastery of Digital Channels: Navigate the digital terrain with finesse, with a deep understanding of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Expertise in SEM/SEO: Harness the power of search engines and optimise their online presence with your solid grasp of Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimisation.
  • Website Strategy and Analytics: Be the architect of our online hub and decode the insights provided by tools like Google Analytics to steer our digital strategy towards success.
  • Google Ads and Marketing Platforms: Drive targeted traffic and maximize ROI through strategic use of Google Ads and other marketing platforms.
  • Social Media Reporting and Analytics: Dive deep into the data ocean, extracting valuable insights and crafting informed strategies to elevate our social media game.
  • Performance Targeting and Optimisation: Hit the bullseye every time by fine-tuning targeting strategies and optimising performance across all digital channels. 
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep your finger on the pulse of digital advertising trends and innovations, ensuring that Scoot Boot remains at the forefront of the industry.
  • Love animals (in particular dogs) as they are regulars in the office.

What you will bring:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Digital marketing or social media role, well-versed in crafting and managing FB/IG advertising campaigns, sales funnels, and evergreen ad campaigns that drive results.
  • Proven ability to scale followers, social traffic, and revenue, catapulting Scoot Boot to new heights in the digital realm.
  • Effective time management and juggling deadlines is second nature to you. You thrive under pressure and deliver exceptional results, no matter how tight the timeline.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills allow you to articulate ideas effectively and collaborate seamlessly with team members.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines, able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and navigate through challenges with ease.
  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills. Crafting compelling copy is your forte, and your proofreading skills ensure that every word shines bright.
  • Ability to analyse digital performance metrics, diving deep, analysing digital performance metrics, generating insightful reports, and using data to optimise campaigns and strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills make you the ultimate team player, driving success through effective teamwork.
