Digital Marketing / E-commerce Manager
Responsibilities
Develop Digital Marketing Strategies. Create and implement comprehensive Digital Marketing plans tailored to Halcyon Nights including but not limited to social media marketing, email marketing, content marketing, influencer partnerships, and SEO/SEM strategies. Understand our competitors and provide suggestions for our improvement. Communicate your vision and strategy to the director & staff in the business
Ecommerce Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive ecommerce strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates & maximise revenue across our platforms
Social Media Management. Manage and grow our presence across various social media platforms (such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok), including content concepts, scheduling, community engagement, and paid advertising campaigns. Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices. Write & edit copy that conveys a clear on brand message to our audience.
Content Conceptualisation. Develop engaging and relevant content concepts (including graphics, videos, and written copy) that resonates with our target audience, adhering to our brand's tone and messaging
Email & SMS Marketing. Plan and execute email & SMS marketing campaigns to drive sales, promote products, and drive customer engagement. Utilize segmentation and personalization techniques to maximize email effectiveness
Influencer Partnerships. Identify and establish partnerships with relevant influencers and content creators in the family, parenting & artistic niche to expand our brand's reach and credibility
Website Optimisation. Ensure our website is optimized for user experience, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and search engine visibility. Monitor website analytics and implement improvements accordingly
Paid Advertising. Manage digital advertising campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to increase brand visibility, drive traffic, and achieve ROI targets. Monitor ad performance and adjust strategies as needed. Write & edit copy.
Analytics & Reporting. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all Digital Marketing efforts, including website traffic, social media engagement, email open rates, conversion rates, and ROI. Prepare regular reports to assess campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
Website Management. Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of our ecommerce website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for performance. Collaborate with web developers to implement enhancements and resolve technical issues
Product Management.
Manage the product collections, including adding new products, updating product information, and optimizing product listings for search engines and online marketplaces.
Customer Experience Optimisation.
Continuously optimize the online shopping experience to enhance customer satisfaction and increase retention rates. Implement user-friendly navigation, streamlined checkout processes, and personalized recommendations
Analytics & Reporting. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost. Analyse data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports and present findings to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
Proficient in social media management. (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and email marketing platforms (e.g., Klavyio), and web analytics tools, Sopify
Strong understanding of SEO principles, and best practices for online advertising
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions
Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with graphic design & Adobe Creative Suite
