Digital Marketing Manager

Join the thriving team at Salter Brothers Hospitality as our first Digital Marketing Manager 

Reporting to our Marketing Director and the General Manager of Brand and Marketing, the purpose of this position is to lead the Digital Marketing performance of the Salter Brothers Hospitality portfolio of brands, independent hotels and assets. 

Salter Brothers Hospitality currently operates 16 retreat hotels and estates; more than 20 restaurants and bars; 8 Spa Anise spas and other wellness facilities; as well as Spicers Scenic Rim Trail, one of the largest ecotourism ventures in Queensland with 38 rooms over five campsites. There are plans for considerable growth in the near future.

The role and key duties; 

• Design and implement comprehensive digital strategies for all portfolio assets to maximise brand and asset awareness and drive performance of all digital platforms to maximise revenue;
• Balance a strategic and planned approach with the nimbleness necessary to meet both long term strategic and short term tactical commercial objectives; 
• Develop and implement robust measurement across all digital channels to ensure above industry performance across key digital / e-commerce metrics; 
• Work closely with the marketing and creative leads to ensure content is aligned to brand guidelines; 
• Ensure consumer experience is elevated and aligned to brand guidelines.
• Manage all content maintenance across the website portfolio, both proactively as well as ad hoc requests; 
• Implement journey mapping and segmentation strategies through the CRM/EDM delivery system
• Maintain portfolio websites to maximise performance and ensure websites and content are highly optimised to ensure SEO; 
• Manage the CRM and Email marketing integration to execute an effective email marketing strategy; 
• Develop and implement a finely tuned PPC a results driven paid social media strategy. 

Essential criteria required to be considered;

• Degree qualified in related discipline; 
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role; 
• Minimum 2 years hands on experience with SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, Meta and CRM Software; 
• Experience in the hospitality industry is desirable; 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 
• Demonstrated ability with analytical and data driven thinking; 
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills; 
• Strong and proven expertise in Digital Marketing; 
• Strong project management and coordination skills; 
• Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
