About the role

Nine.com.au is seeking a Digital News Producer based out of the 9News newsroom in Melbourne to help drive the output on one of Australia’s biggest news sites and produce high-quality content with a focus on Victoria.

Day to day, you will:

• Cover breaking news and developing stories out of Melbourne
• Curate the 9News Melbourne homepage and app.
• Liaise with the 9News CoS desk, producers, social media team and reporters to ensure the best content broadcast on TV is also online.
• Attend 9News Melbourne news conferences
• Pitch your own content ideas in daily Digital News conference.
• Compile analytics reports for the Melbourne newsroom
• Work with the SEO and social media teams to develop story opportunities.

This is a full-time role and will involve working one day on the weekend. This is a role with work-from-home flexibility but will be office-based for four days a week.
