About the role
This newly created role, reporting into the Executive GM of Strategy and Product, will take ownership of COEX's Digital Product portfolio, product strategy, roadmap, and the full product lifecycle. This position requires someone who can effectively establish the Product function by forming strong relationships across the business and design a Digital Product strategy that will grow the network, enhance operational performance, network delivery, customer and community engagement.
A summary of key responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the strategic and operational performance of COEX's Digital Product portfolio, ensuring alignment with the overall brand, vision and business objectives;
- Work with the Product Researcher to understand how customers, network partners and operators currently interact with existing Digital Products and identify gaps for further innovation, improvements, or potential solutions;
- Through a thorough understanding of market / consumer / product research, build opportunity maps and assess innovations for impact;
- Compile research findings, product insights, and Innovations into investment strategies and/or business case presentations;
- Lead the Product Delivery Lead (Digital) to ensure product plans, roadmaps, innovations and key milestones and delivered in accordance to project delivery timelines and budgets;
- Build and maintain a sound understanding of CDS schemes nationally and globally, along with trends in recycling and the circular economy;
- Build a strong internal network with fellow senior leaders and the Executive team, along with broader external stakeholders in government, industry bodies, operators, and third-party providers;
- Work with internal teams to identify growth opportunities and ensure product strategies and roadmaps enable customer and growth success;
- Take ownership of cross-functional product processes, ensuring successful discovery, development, delivery and launch of new products, existing product updates, and product features; and
- As a leader of the product function, cultivate a culture of innovation; motivating team members to contribute their ideas and market insights / opportunities.
About you
This opportunity requires a senior Digital Product specialist, with a passion for driving social change through innovation, to help establish a powerful and effective strategy and product function for COEX. To be considered for this role, your background must meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in fields such as business, marketing, innovation, or data analytics required (Master's degree in a business discipline desirable);
- Demonstrated senior experience in commercial development of data systems and digital platform product design, development, and management;
- Experience in Digital Product development, including the creation and execution of high-level product strategies, roadmaps, and full ownership of product / solutions at a senior level;
- Experience in product discovery including market research, customer research, product research and concept testing;
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative analysis, with a good handle on data visualisation tools, data analytics, and developing sound insights from data;
- Experience with people management, managing team performance and output;
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, underpinned by a truly collaborative approach and a proven ability to build strong and effective partnerships both internally and externally;
- Previous experience working in a not-for-profit, Government or environmental sustainability organisation desirable; and
- Genuine interest in influencing and enabling all people to better participate in a circular economy.
