My client is a leading digital bank, based in Sydney, who are spearheading the next generation of their digital mortgages and application processes.
This is an important Product Owner role that will help drive and shape the transformation within their product suite for their mortgages and small business loans division. They pride themselves on innovation and cutting-edge technology at the forefront of everything they do.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining an outcome-based product roadmap
- Assuming a leadership position within the organization to engage a team of SMEs and advocates to assist with the fulfillment of the vision
- Working with business and technology teams to develop and manage the program backlog, define scope, and break work down into deliverable sprints to continuously improve the current “product”
- Assuming a key position with related external vendors, becoming the point person between organizations – managing business outcomes and objectives
- Working closely with the development and SME teams for planning and other Agile meetings
- Translating technical information to business stakeholders where required
To be successful in this role, you will have skills in the following:
- Proven track record and experience as a Product Owner in an agile and digital-based environment, preferably working on home loan mortgages and/or asset lending products in the product lifecycle
- Passion for creating and enhancing customer experience in a digital environment
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Proven experience in delivering outcome-based product roadmaps
