  • Permanent role
  • Responsible for delivering ‘world leading’ Motor Digital Customer Experiences to achieve new business sales goals
  • Accountable for identifying and overseeing the Digital enhancement pipeline, asset maintenance, and performance effectiveness of the business critical digital assets
  • Working with a cross functional Agile delivery team
  • Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Adelaide location (hybrid, 50% office / 50% work from home)

The position plays a critical role in delivering ‘world leading’ Digital customer experience by leading a dedicated cross-functional delivery team (squad) responsible for identifying the Motor Digital Experience roadmap, establishing the squad vision, establishing a robust backlog, defining business requirements, prioritising work, overseeing delivery, and implementation and delivering value.

The Product Owner, Motor Digital Experience is accountable for identifying and overseeing the Digital enhancement pipeline, asset maintenance, and performance/effectiveness of the business critical digital assets (e.g. customer experience optimisation, new business sales in line with targets, regulatory requirements, product initiatives, product or staff experience enhancements), enabling an exceptional customer experience within the Motor Insurance business.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Identify, develop and deliver customer experience optimisation initiatives to deliver on Motor new business unit, GWP and Digital adoption targets
  • Lead planning of initiatives and their delivery into production and ensuring continuous optimisation of the digital customer experience , the role will drive better business and customer outcomes
  • Develop and deliver the Motor digital experience strategic program of work and roadmap to meet Digital Sales and Adoption targets
  • Lead a cross-functional squad within Motor Transformation & Enablement (Motor Tribe), ensuring the squad is focused and enabled to deliver outcomes aligned to the Motor Insurance strategic objectives
  • Accountable for ensuring successful delivery and implementation of solutions including appropriate acceptance criteria, testing practices (UAT/PVT) and release day activities
  • Maximising the value of the work delivered by the squad, ensuring the squad is enabled and empowered to design and deliver effective, high-value solutions.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in insurance and/or financial services experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Digital Domain ( Design/UX, Conversion, and digital best practices)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Customer experience management
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with project delivery working with Technology delivery teams, technology assest management, API’s
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders.
