To help us continue to deliver improved benefits to our members, we have an exciting new position available in our Digital team. The Digital Product Owner is responsible for ongoing management and maintenance of RACT’s digital portfolio, ensuring that we continue to meet our members’ needs through the continued enhancement of our Digital Products and services. Working across the product development lifecycle, you will use member insights and analytics to identify and prioritise key improvements.
Working with your peers in the Digital team, external consultants and vendors you will build on existing business practices and seek opportunities to provide better experiences to members. You will also be involved in exciting projects, and support in the delivery of the projects to our staff, members and partners.
You will be a team player, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders internally at RACT, our members and other external stakeholders.
About you:
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies, including modern web architecture.
- Experience prioritising work based on based on stakeholder input, overlayed with business priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. - Experience in working with agile practices, user research, user-centred design methodologies and usability testing.

About the role:
- Manage and prioritise product backlog of app and web features, aligned to our digital strategy.
- Work with the Member Experience and Operations teams to identify and implement digital solutions that create efficiencies, drive revenue generation and increase member value.
- Engage with stakeholders to document requirements, socialise Digital Product features, concepts and business benefits.
- Engage with internal teams and external vendors to deliver enhancements and improvements, ensuring the quality delivery of requirements.
- Implement and maintain programs to monitor and analyse our digital offerings, using the insights delivered to identify future enhancements and opportunities.
- Support the broader MX Team in delivering of functional changes to our Digital Products.
- Work with your peers in the Digital team, external consultants and vendors to build on existing business practices and seek opportunities to provide better experiences to members.
- Support communication and change management activities relating to our Digital Products for our staff, members and partners.
- Participate in, lead and implement special projects as they arise to support company, individual and business objectives.
