Digital Project Manager

Creative Juice SA is currently seeking a passionate and highly experienced Digital Project Lead who is looking to step up their career in a creative, vibrant and high-performance environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Program / Project Management:

• Roadmap Creation: Develop and maintain a program roadmap with clear milestones and deliverables.
• Project Coordination: Oversee multiple projects, ensuring seamless coordination and interdependence.
• Handover from Discovery: Work closely with the Digital Strategy team to ensure smooth transition from Discovery into Delivery of new projects.
• End-to-End Management: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
• Progress Monitoring: Keep track of project timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with the program plan.
• Daily Operations: Ensure smooth operations, optimise workflows, and advocate best practices.
• KPI Establishment: Set key performance indicators to measure program success.
• Performance Analysis: Analyse performance data, identify improvement areas, and implement necessary changes.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate resources optimally across projects, avoiding conflicts.
• Risk Management: Identify and manage risks, develop mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects meet our high standards and client expectations.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Primary Contact: Act as the main point of contact for project/program communication.
• Regular Updates: Provide updates to leadership, clients, and stakeholders on status, progress, and challenges.
• Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, fostering shared ambitions and growth opportunities.
• Contract Negotiations: Manage contract negotiations effectively, ensuring favourable outcomes.

Team Leadership:

• Team Management: Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
• Problem-Solving: Use emotional intelligence and rational thinking to navigate and solve diverse digital and creative problems.

Budget / Finance Management:

• Budget Development: Develop and manage program / project budgets, ensuring financial constraints are met.
• Expenditure Monitoring: Monitor project expenditures and adjust allocations as necessary.
   

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus. Master’s degree or certifications like PMP, PRINCE2, or SCRUM MASTER are advantageous.
• Experience: 3-5 years minimum in project management within the web and app development industry, (mid-senior level applicants).
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, ASANA) and web/app development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Native Mobile app, eCommerce).
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage conflicts, and drive project success.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges.
• Negotiation Skills: Adept at negotiation tactics for resolving conflicts and managing client expectations.
• Client Relationship Management: Experience in managing client relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.
